Getting here
Check-in from 2:00 pm. Once you turn onto our driveway, continue for about 250 meters. You will see the cottage and its dedicated driveway on your right.
In the cottage
Press and hold on/off. Select the pit. Use + and –. Only works with an induction-compatible pan that has food or liquid in it.
Tank water, filtered twice including carbon. Tea-tree may leave a light colour — it is safe. A water container is in the fridge; drop it at our house when empty and we will refill it.
Property and wildlife
An external camera on the main cottage points at the driveway and parking area only. It does not monitor interiors, the deck, patio or garden. For security and check-in times. Questions: text or call Rob.
We move the bin to the street on Sunday afternoon. It is collected Monday and returned. If you leave on Monday morning, put bags at the bottom of the stairs.
They are wild. Keep your distance. Do not feed them. Observe quietly. Do not touch or approach.
Turn off air conditioners and lights when you leave the cottage.
No dogs inside the cottage, if you are not there to supervise.
NO chasing of any animals/wildlife allowed (Birds, Kangaroos - Horses).
Around the cottage
Coles Peregian Springs — 1 Ridgeview Dr, Peregian Springs.
Drive to the very end of Hastings Street where the river meets the ocean. Gympie Terrace beside the Noosa River has restaurants and bars.
Take Beach Road via Peregian Beach for the prettier route to Noosa.
1.6 km return summit walk in Mount Coolum National Park. About an hour each way. Steep. Access from Tanah Street West.
Kayak or canoe about 300 m to the right from the lodge for a hidden creek. Continue inland about 20 minutes.
Mozzie spray is in the kitchen cupboard. Pets must not chase wildlife or horses.
